FIRST RESPONDER: Immediately after fire detection, first responders have to fight the fire as soon as possible. These should be light four-wheel drive vehicles, which are otherwise used e.g. in agriculture and forestry. Only such vehicles have any chance at all of getting to the source of the fire in difficult terrain.And only there can the incipient fire be successfully fought at an early stage. It is of no use to wait until the fire front has reached any path.
